Waiting
Just wondering when God was going to send me a husband. Whoever he is, I have been praying for him for about 18 years.
I wasn't ready for a long time. I needed quite a bit of healing before I could be in a relationship. Now I can't wait. I want to love a certain someone in every way possible; to take care of someone and be taken care of by that person. I want to help (in any way I can) that one grow ever closer to God. I already love him, even though I don't know him yet.
God help me.

Thank you for the comment on my blog. Glad you liked it. Mind if I ask how you came across it? Oh yeah, this was a very nice post. Very touching. You've definitely got yourself another full time reader of your blogs. :)
I envy you your faith more than I could ever find the words to say. I prayed for the longest time for a wife... but after being thrown out of my church, I just kind of lost the ability to believe God would ever bring her to me.

If I may ask, why were you thrown out of your church? And what church was it?
You seem as though you would like to believe, but that there are too many questions that you need answered first. Been there.
As for me - my faith is hard-won - very hard-won, and I still go through very pressing times of testing.
You may feel free to ask. You seem like a really nice person and I'd be happy to answer. But it's a subject that's very personal to me and I can't say I'd like to answer it here where anyone can readit. If you trust me enoughto give me an email address and you really want to know, I'll be happy to email you a more proper response. And don't worry, I promise I'm not hitting on you. *lol*
I'll tell you what: on your Blogger account, go to the settings folder; click the comments page. Put your email address in the "comment notification address" box. Then, when I post an comment on your site, it should come to your email address with my email address in it.
Let me know when you have done that.
