Summer Boredom
Gaaah! Star Trek:Enterprise is ended, the last Star Wars movie has come out.....What is there left to live for? Oh wait - Harry Potter. Never mind.

All shows take a while to find their groove. I like watching Star Trek because they don't have to explain things every time. You know the back story or scientific theory from watching the episode from last week or last year or another show in the overall series. It's a lot of fun to watch an episode and say, "Oh, that's what that meant in TNG.", or,"They can't do that because (such and such) will happen."
As regards George Lucas, it would probably be better if he wrote the overall story, and then turned it over to an experienced screenwriter to revise it.
I don't know if they have Lost in Japan, but it is one of the best shows out now. Give it a few episodes. You'll be hooked.
Well there's always Carnivale. Yeah, it's not Star Trek, but it's just sooooooooo good.
Except I don't have cable.......
Neither do I. Haven't really watched tv in years now. But this series was so good I was happy to spend the $70 for the first season.
